Hello and Welcome!

Every year, ANC 3A publishes its Annual Report on priority issues and activities of the ANC in serving the community for the preceding 12 months, as required in DC Code § 1-309.10(n-1). This year's report can be found here.

A local volunteer group called Friends of Bus Transit (FoBus) has been formed to track how WMATA’s “Better Bus” reconfiguration of Metrobus services is working in neighborhoods including our ANC area and gather recommendations for improvements.

In June 2024, Sidwell Friends began work to renovate the Upton Street building, once the Washington Home & Community Hospices nursing home, into a new Upper School for grades 9-12.
