Hello and Welcome!

On behalf of a group of local Advisory Neighborhood Commissions (ANCs), we are sharing a survey of how residents view the current proposal for building a new stadium for the Washington Commanders and adjoining development at the site of RFK Stadium. The survey takes less than 2 minutes and will be open through Monday, July 21, so feedback can be compiled before the Council hearings about the proposal that are scheduled for July 29.

The Mayor transmission of her proposed FY 2026 Budget and Financial Plan and associated documents to the Council took place on May 27. The schedule, and other relevant information, is available here. 

In June 2024, Sidwell Friends began work to renovate the Upton Street building, once the Washington Home & Community Hospices nursing home, into a new Upper School for grades 9-12.
